For many sellers, selling a home for sale by owner (FSBO) is associated with the thought of not paying a commission.  There are pros/cons to a FSBO transaction.  It is critical for you to get the value correct in this type of transaction so you don’t leave money on the table.

Pricing is one of the most critical aspects to selling a home.  Priced too low and it can lead to a loss of money.  Priced too high and the home may sit on the market for an extended period of time, leading to eventual disinterest from buyers.

In NC you need the following documents to sell a home: a NC sales contract, a NC residential property disclosure form,  a NC mineral and oil rights form, a NC occupancy agreement, a lead based paint disclosure for any home built prior to 1978.
